A number of initiatives will be launched in the coming months to help families struggling with emotional well-being and/or drug use.
The first of these is KINSHIP CARE, a support group for relatives caring for children whose parents are unable to care for them.
According to school officials, one in five of our school children are in this situation. The program will be hosted at the Loudonville United Methodist Church and will provide childcare for participants.
The first group will be facilitated by Pastor Jean Coleman, MA, MDiv, a grandmother caring for her grandchildren.
Space is limited, so please contact the Loudonville United Methodist Church at 419-994-4939 for more information or to register.
